Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the needs and challenges faced by students with special needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities to deliver both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on personal growth, emotional regulation, and effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate with educators and specialists, including speech and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive care that meets the diverse needs of our students.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, ensuring each student receives appropriate and timely assistance.

• Educate students and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available resources to foster understanding and empowerment.

• Maintain meticulous documentation in line with ethical and legal standards, ensuring the highest level of accountability and care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on students with special educational needs, including those diagnosed with ASD, learning disabilities, ADHD, and other emotional and behavioral challenges. Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid LCSW licensure in the state of Georgia.

• Proficiency in conducting comprehensive assessments, formulating accurate diagnoses, and developing strategic treatment plans.

• Demonstrated experience delivering both individual and group therapy sessions using various therapeutic techniques.

• Effective interpersonal communication skills essential for collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

• Commitment to professional ethics, sound judgment, and the maintenance of professional boundaries.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer literacy.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
