Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough mental health assessments to evaluate the needs of students with diverse special needs.

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to address mental health issues, emotional well-being, and the integration of each student into the educational setting.
\n
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions for conditions such as ASD, learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, ADHD, and trauma.

• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions that promote personal growth, emotional regulation, and effective coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborating with educators, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure a holistic approach to each student’s care.

• Providing crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, ensuring timely assistance and appropriate follow-up.

• Conducting psychoeducation sessions for students and their families, addressing mental health conditions and available resources.
\n
• Maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards as well as participating in team meetings and case conferences.

• Staying informed about relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines that impact social work practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on students participating in our Special Education Program, many of whom face challenges associated with ASD, ADHD, learning disabilities, and other emotional and behavioral disorders. By providing individualized support, you will play an important role in promoting their mental health and overall well-being, facilitating a productive and inclusive educational experience.

Qualifications\n

To thrive in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid LCSW licensure in the state of Pennsylvania.

• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Proficiency in assessing mental health conditions, diagnosing patients, and formulating effective treatment plans.

• Strong skills in conducting both individual and group therapy sessions using a variety of therapeutic approaches.

• Exceptional crisis intervention skills, with an ability to maintain composure during high-stress situations.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration with team members and families.

• Sound judgment and a commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and ethical standards.

Preferred Experience\n

A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, particularly within educational environments or with populations exhibiting special needs, is preferred.
