Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients experiencing major mental health disorders and emotional challenges.
• Implement therapeutic interventions in both virtual and in-person settings, tailored to the unique needs of clients.
• Actively participate in team meetings to contribute to interdisciplinary treatment approaches, with an emphasis on effective communication and mutual respect.
• Engage in crisis management protocols and provide risk assessments to ensure client safety and well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with clients grappling with severe emotional and psychological disorders, as well as those in various stages of detox from substance use. Your expertise will be integral in helping them address their mental health needs and navigate recovery pathways. Understanding the diverse backgrounds and cultures of our clients will be critical in providing tailored support that meets their specific circumstances.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work (BSW) is required; an LCSW license is essential.
• Demonstrated expertise in assessing, diagnosing, and treating mental health issues, coupled with strong crisis intervention skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication capabilities to build rapport with clients and collaborate with team members.
• Strong organizational and planning abilities to manage a diverse case load effectively.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a social work role focusing on mental health and addiction recovery.
