Insight Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our expanding team. This role offers the unique opportunity to provide both telehealth and face-to-face counseling services to clients in Garland, Texas. As an integral part of our practice, you will address trauma-related mental health issues through evidence-based strategies, working to enhance the well-being of individuals and families.

Work Environment\n

This full-time position is primarily remote, allowing you to practice telehealth services effectively while providing the flexibility to adjust your work environment for personal comfort and productivity. Additionally, we conduct face-to-face sessions as necessary, fostering strong therapeutic relationships with clients. Our practice hours extend from 7 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week, accommodating different schedules to ensure client accessibility.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' trauma histories and identify tailored treatment modalities.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery, resilience-building, and overall mental wellness.
\n
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that enable clients to process traumatic experiences, develop effective coping mechanisms, and foster healing.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to care for all patients.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, offering immediate support and guidance.
\n
• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses and available coping strategies, empowering them with knowledge for their healing journey.

• Ensure all documentation is maintained accurately and confidentially, compliant with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development focused on trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed about current research and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance treatment efficacy.

Our client base consists primarily of individuals grappling with trauma and related psychological disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas.
\n
• Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment approaches.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, displaying a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Ability to maintain composure and effectiveness in high-stress scenarios.
\n
• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, particularly in trauma-focused therapeutic settings.

• Experience providing therapy to couples is advantageous; however, training will be provided.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience. Our compensation package includes:
