Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' histories and determine individualized treatment approaches.

• Develop and execute tailored treatment plans emphasizing trauma recovery, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic practices such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to help patients process their trauma, adopt effective coping strategies, and promote emotional healing.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for all patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and emotional support during traumatic incidents or emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources for recovery.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Engage actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development initiatives aimed at enhancing trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay updated on the latest research, trends, and best practices in trauma therapy to ensure effective treatment delivery.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Adeptness in crisis intervention and deftness in handling high-stress situations.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience, preferably with a focus on trauma-informed care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to USD 110,000, based on experience and qualifications.
