Oasis Mental Clinic is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team. This full-time position allows for a flexible work schedule, combining both telehealth services and in-person consultations at our outpatient facility in Lakewood, New Jersey. We are offering a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $110,000 per year, and are delighted to announce a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.

Work Environment\n

This role primarily operates in a remote setting, allowing LPCs the flexibility to manage their schedules while ensuring that patient care remains paramount. In addition to remote work, you will have the opportunity to host face-to-face sessions in our welcoming outpatient office, designed to facilitate a comforting and supportive therapy experience. We operate seven days a week from 7 am to 10 pm, promoting a work-life balance that supports both our staff and patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will involve:

• Conducting thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' trauma histories and identify suitable treatment pathways.
\n
• Creating and executing individualized treatment plans that center on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and holistic well-being.
\n
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), in both individual and group therapy sessions.

• Facilitating individual therapy sessions to help patients unravel and process their traumatic experiences while developing positive coping mechanisms.
\n
• Collaborating with psychiatrists, nurses, and fellow therapists to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for patients.
\n
• Providing crisis intervention and support during distressing situations, responding with sensitivity and expertise.
\n
• Educating clients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available community resources.
\n
• Maintaining accurate, confidential documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards.

• Participating in case consultations and team meetings aimed at enhancing trauma-informed care practices.

• Staying informed about the latest research and innovative techniques in trauma therapy to ensure the highest quality of care.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

Preferred Experience\n
