Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Banyan, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' experiences and determine appropriate treatment strategies.

• Developing individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and symptom management.
\n
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to address a diverse range of client needs.

• Delivering both individual and group therapy sessions that encourage clients to deepen their understanding of trauma and develop effective coping mechanisms.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure an integrated approach to client care.

• Providing timely crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educating clients and their families about trauma responses and available community resources.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid LPC licensure in Texas.
