The Individual and Family Psychotherapy Center is actively seeking passionate and qualified Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs) to join our dynamic team. This full-time position offers the unique opportunity to work remotely, while still engaging with our community in Seymour, Tennessee. As a Trauma-Informed LPC, you will play a pivotal role in providing both telehealth and face-to-face counseling sessions, focusing on supporting clients in navigating their trauma and facilitating their healing journeys.

Our practice operates in a remote setting, offering flexibility for our counselors to manage their schedules effectively. Our office hours span 7 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week, allowing for a work-life balance that caters to both clinician and client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories, developing tailored treatment plans accordingly.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), ensuring the highest standards of care.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, guiding clients through the trauma processing phase by helping them build coping strategies and promote healing.

• Engage in ongoing collaboration with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to coordinate integrated care for our patients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring clients receive timely and appropriate assistance.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available community resources to empower their healing.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal, ethical, and clinical standards.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and continued professional development activities focusing on trauma-informed care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client base consists of adults, couples, and families affected by trauma-related issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Tennessee.
