Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and tailor appropriate treatment strategies.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and enhance resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process trauma, develop effective coping mechanisms, and promote healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, holistic care to patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure patient safety and stabilization.

• Educate clients and their families on understanding trauma responses, coping strategies, and available community resources.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, adhering to all legal and ethical standards in the field.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional education focused on trauma-informed care practices.

• Continuously engage with current research and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance treatment efficacy.

You will work with individuals, couples, and families, providing tailored support to help them navigate their journeys toward recovery. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Valid and current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Tennessee.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and computer skills for documentation.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are essential for building rapport with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

While we welcome applicants with varying levels of experience, two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and have a strong foundation in resilience-building strategies. Self-guidance in submitting documentation within 24 hours is also vital to ensure timely client care.
