Work Environment\n

As part of a community health clinic, you will enjoy a remote work setting while also having the opportunity to meet clients face-to-face as needed. We maintain operational hours from 7 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week, allowing for a flexible schedule that meets your needs and those of our clients. Our clinic prides itself on having a motivated patient population, supported by an adept scheduling and client service team, ensuring that you can focus on what you do best—providing care.

Key Responsibilities\n

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and determining suitable treatment methodologies.
\n
• Creating and implementing personalized treatment plans centered on trauma recovery and resilience building.
\n
• Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
\n
• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process traumatic experiences, cultivate coping strategies, and foster healing.
\n
• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic and integrated care.
\n
• Providing immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educating patients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available resources to enhance understanding and support.
\n
• Maintaining accurate documentation in alignment with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
\n
• Engaging in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development with a focus on trauma-informed care practices.

• Staying informed on the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to continuously improve service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals coping with trauma-related challenges. You will work closely with a diverse range of clients, including couples, where training will be provided to ensure proficiency in therapeutic approaches. By creating an equitable therapeutic relationship, you will empower clients on their journey toward healing and resilience.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
\n
• Current and valid licensure as an LPC in the state of Colorado.
\n
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and resilience-building strategies.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to client interaction.

• The capacity to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations.
\n
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.

• A collaborative spirit, willing to work within a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
