As a part of our dynamic team, you will enjoy a collaborative and supportive remote work environment. Our office operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential flexibility to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories and identify appropriate treatment pathways.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, strength-building, and resilience.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to assist clients in processing their traumas.

• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients develop effective coping strategies and foster healing.
\n
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to coordinate integrated care and optimize patient outcomes.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring clients receive immediate assistance based on their unique needs.
\n
• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and local resources available to them.
\n
• Maintain meticulous documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to track patient progress and treatment.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development initiatives to further enhance trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to enhance your therapeutic skills and approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses on serving a diverse patient population comprising individuals affected by various trauma experiences. Clients may present with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will have the opportunity to work with adults and adolescents, providing the support they need to navigate their recovery journey in an understanding and empathetic environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within the state of Tennessee.
\n
• A strong working knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.
\n
• Proven ability to deliver trauma-focused therapies and interventions, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach toward clients.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to connect effectively with patients and their families.
\n
• Capability to remain calm under pressure and manage high-stress situations effectively.
\n
• Proficient in the use of EHR systems and standard computer applications relevant to clinical documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting, preferably with a focus on trauma care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
