Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to determine their functional limitations and physical therapy needs.
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and evolving needs.
• Evaluate and interpret treatment outcomes, ensuring alignment with state laws and professional standards.
• Provide consultation to other healthcare providers regarding the continuum of care for each patient.
• Document all patient interactions accurately, submitting charges for services provided in accordance with organizational policies.
• Supervise and manage support staff, aiding in their professional development while maintaining department efficiency.
• Collaborate with physicians, family members, and interdisciplinary teams to design discharge plans that facilitate a smooth transition to home or community-based care.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives, promote physical therapy services, and contribute to program development to enhance patient care offerings.
• Maintain current knowledge in physical therapy practices through attendance at workshops, staff meetings, and continuing education courses.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The physical therapist in this role will work primarily with diverse patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and other conditions affecting mobility and physical function. A strong emphasis is placed on culturally competent care, ensuring that all patients, regardless of age, background, or ability, receive exceptional treatment tailored to their specific needs. You will play a vital role in improving patients' quality of life by helping them regain independence and mobility through evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy is required.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
