Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual therapy sessions either through videoconferencing or in person at clients' homes, creating a nurturing and safe environment for those served.

• Utilize evidence-based practices to support children facing challenges with anger management, social skills, and developing coping strategies.

• Directly engage with adolescents and caregivers to enhance decision-making skills, thus assisting families in managing behavioral issues effectively.

• Coordinate with the Child Family Treatment Team and other professionals, ensuring a multi-disciplinary approach to each client's treatment plan.
\n
• Document all relevant client information, including treatment plans, progress notes, and intake assessments, to ensure compliance and provide comprehensive care.

• Participate actively in monthly team meetings and contribute constructive feedback and recommendations for service improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on youth ages 3-20 who are experiencing developmental and intellectual disabilities. Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a closely related field.

• An active and unrestricted LMFT license is required.
\n
• Availability for at least 5-10 hours per week during the critical after-school hours of 4-7 PM, with additional weekend flexibility considered beneficial.

• A valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle are mandatory.
\n
• Success in passing a criminal background check, including fingerprinting, is essential for this role.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in providing positive behavioral support strategies for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities is highly desirable.

• Prior work experience engaging with children between the ages of 3-20 will be an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position falls within the range of USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience.
