Silver Lining Counseling, LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our child and adolescent services team. This full-time remote position allows you to contribute significantly to the mental well-being of young individuals and their families. Work Environment\n

In this remote role, you will have the flexibility to manage your schedule while engaging with fellow professionals and clients virtually. The hours of operation are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for children and adolescents, identifying their unique needs and challenges.
\n
• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans that take into account developmental stages, family dynamics, and cultural backgrounds.
\n
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, and family systems therapy.
\n
• Facilitate family therapy sessions aimed at empowering parents and caregivers in their involvement in their children's mental health journeys.
\n
• Work closely with child psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to provide coordinated and holistic care for patients.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention for emergencies, ensuring safety and effective support for children and adolescents in distress.
\n
• Educate families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources available to them.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation as per legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage actively in team meetings, case consultations, and in professional development to enhance your therapeutic skills and knowledge.

• Stay updated with current research and best practices in child and adolescent mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist will primarily work with children and adolescents facing mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders. A commitment to understanding the unique needs of young clients and their families is critical in building trust and effectiveness in therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona, reflecting your professional credentials to work in this capacity.

• In-depth knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, therapeutic modalities, and best practices in treatment.
\n
• Previous experience providing individual and family therapy to youth.
\n
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, showcasing a caring and child-centered approach.
\n
• Proven ability to establish rapport with children, adolescents, and their families, fostering a positive therapeutic environment.

• Proficient in electronic health record systems and technology relevant to therapy practice.
\n
• Ability to function effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, sharing insights and resources for patient benefit.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of experience working directly in mental health counseling, particularly with children and adolescents.

• Experience with crisis intervention and emergency response within a mental health context.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 105,000, commensurate with your experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
