Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and document findings accurately from the initial consultation through to the end of treatment.

• Design and implement individualized treatment and recovery plans that address the unique needs of clients, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing therapeutic modalities that resonate with clients.
\n
• Monitor client progress by regularly reviewing treatment plans, making necessary adjustments, and documenting outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including fellow mental health specialists, physicians, nurses, and social workers, to develop and execute effective intervention strategies.

• Act as a liaison for clients requiring additional support, including follow-up consultations with psychiatrists and attending physicians.
\n
• Identify potential barriers to recovery and implement preventative strategies to ensure clients remain on track towards their mental health goals.

• Assist family members and primary caregivers in understanding and managing mental health challenges faced by their loved ones.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on a broad range of clients, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, and addiction. Our practice prioritizes culturally competent care, and we are committed to assisting clients from all walks of life, ensuring each person feels respected and understood throughout their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Massachusetts.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counselor Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems, preferably AVATAR, to maintain accurate and timely client documentation.
\n
• Strong understanding of various mental health conditions and their treatment, including co-occurring physical and emotional health issues.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience as a mental health counselor, with a demonstrated record of effective counseling practices.

• Familiarity with the clinical best practices outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Knowledge of pharmacological treatments and their effects as prescribed by medical professionals.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to convey complex information simply and compassionately.

• Strong interpersonal skills, characterized by empathy and a genuine commitment to client welfare.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this full-time position is between $80,000 and $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, candidates are eligible for a sign-on bonus. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
