Work Environment

As a remote employee, you will engage in a flexible work setting equipped with cutting-edge technology to connect with clients. Operating during standard business hours, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, you are encouraged to maintain a harmonious work-life balance while delivering your therapeutic expertise. Key Responsibilities

In this crucial role, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to ascertain the severity, frequency, and duration of client mood disorder symptoms, utilizing standardized measures and clinical judgment.
• Collaborating with clients to formulate individualized treatment plans, establishing clear goals and therapeutic benchmarks tailored to their unique circumstances.
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate effective treatment outcomes.
• Providing education and psychoeducation to clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and proactive self-care techniques.
• Monitoring and documenting client progress meticulously, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans in response to evolving client needs.
• Working closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to synergize care efforts, ensuring clients receive holistic and coordinated support.
• Engaging in ongoing professional development and case consultations to stay current with best practices and innovations in mental health therapeutics.
• Advocating for patients to enhance understanding and lessen stigma associated with mental health issues, contributing to a broader cultural change.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clinical focus will primarily involve supporting individuals grappling with mood disorders. You will engage with a diverse clientele, appreciating the varying cultural backgrounds and personal experiences that shape their mental health journeys. Qualifications

To be successful in this position, you will need:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure in Oregon as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A robust understanding of treatment modalities, particularly CBT and DBT, as well as a solid grasp of psychopharmacology practices to engage effectively with prescribing professionals.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to establish meaningful therapeutic relationships with clients, fostering a safe and inviting atmosphere.

Preferred Experience

Although the following experiences are not mandatory, they are preferred:

• Experience in working specifically with clients suffering from mood disorders.
• A proven track record of designing effective treatment interventions leading to positive client outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits
