Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide high-quality therapeutic services that include individual and group counseling, utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Conduct thorough psychological assessments to evaluate the mental health conditions and needs of clients.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that incorporate both conventional and alternative therapeutic methods tailored to each client’s unique situation.

• Maintain meticulous and up-to-date client records, ensuring all therapy sessions, treatment plans, and progress notes are comprehensively documented.

• Engage in regular collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to enhance holistic care and integrate diverse perspectives into treatment.

• Participate actively in professional development opportunities such as training, workshops, and conferences to keep abreast of the latest advancements in mental health.

• Facilitate and lead support groups that provide a safe space for patients and their families to share experiences and seek communal support.

• Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols and maintain compliance with all ethical guidelines and standards of practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is to assist clients coping with mental health issues related to cancer care and survivorship. You will work with individuals at various stages, including those newly diagnosed, undergoing treatment, facing recurrence, and those transitioning into survivorship or end-of-life considerations. Collaborating with families and caregivers is also an integral part of the counseling process, ensuring a holistic approach to support.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related disciplines is required.
\n
• Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) per state regulations.

• Proven ability to coordinate effectively with diverse, multidisciplinary teams in a mental health setting.

• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to share information clearly and listen actively.

• No history of Medical Malpractice Claims, to be verified by a third party.
\n
• Authorization to work in the U.S. is required.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with cancer patients or in an oncology setting is strongly preferred but not mandatory.

• A background in both individual and group therapeutic frameworks is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
