Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop and maintain a manageable caseload of clients, cultivating strong therapeutic relationships based on trust, respect, and professionalism.

• Conduct initial intake assessments to evaluate client needs and create personalized treatment plans focused on their mental health and well-being.

• Lead weekly individual therapy sessions, employing evidence-based practices and maintaining continuous progress documentation for each client.
\n
• Monitor and review clients’ progress regularly, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure positive mental health outcomes.
\n
• Participate in routine supervision sessions to discuss case progress, share insights, and enhance clinical skills through collaborative evaluation.

• Engage with multidisciplinary teams of healthcare providers to promote holistic care approaches and improve patient outcomes.
\n
• Maintain updated and thorough documentation of all sessions, treatment plans, and communication with clients and other providers.
\n
• Exhibit a growth mindset by engaging in continuous learning and adapting to the evolving landscape of clinical best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LPC will work primarily with youth, addressing a wide range of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. Our client base often includes individuals from diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds, necessitating culturally competent care and tailored therapeutic interventions that respect and integrate their unique perspectives.

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.

• Ability to fulfill credentialing requirements specific to internal clinical settings.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least one year of experience working with psychiatric patients and/or populations dealing with substance use disorders.

• Hands-on experience in both assessment and diagnosis, along with individual and group therapy facilitation.

Compensation and Benefits\n
