Noble Counseling, LLC is seeking a dedicated and licensed Mental Health Therapist to fill a full-time, remote position in Dallas, Texas. The primary focus of this role is to provide specialized mental health care tailored to individuals affected by trauma, including those experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and trauma-informed mental health assessments to accurately evaluate patients' trauma histories and collaboratively identify effective treatment plans.

• Develop individualized treatment strategies that are focused on trauma recovery and bolstering resilience, potentially incorporating evidence-based therapies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to assist patients in processing their trauma experiences, developing coping mechanisms, and promoting overall healing.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and holistic care for patients.

• Be prepared to offer crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring safety and stability for patients in distress.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and effective coping strategies, empowering them to manage their mental health more effectively.

• Maintain accurate, confidential, and timely documentation in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist in this role will primarily work with patients who have experienced varying degrees of trauma, which may include survivors of abuse, accidents, and other distressing life events. Our clientele often requires a nuanced understanding of trauma-related disorders and a compassionate approach to foster trust and facilitate healing. You will play a central role in their journey toward recovery, providing them with the tools necessary to navigate their emotional and psychological challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid state licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT is required.

• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting, with a focus on trauma therapy preferred.

• Proficient understanding of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and resilience-focused therapeutic approaches.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Ability to work effectively in high-stress situations and remain calm under pressure.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n
