Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the severity and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms, employing structured interview techniques and standardized screening tools.

• Work closely with clients to co-create individualized treatment plans that encompass their personal aspirations, therapeutic needs, and lifestyle factors.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adapting interventions to suit diverse client needs.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders and treatment pathways, ensuring they feel informed and empowered to make decisions about their mental health care.

• Regularly monitor client progress, employing both qualitative and quantitative metrics to assess treatment effectiveness and implementing necessary adjustments in therapy.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care that addresses both psychological and pharmacological needs.

• Commit to continuous professional development by staying abreast of the latest research on mood disorders and engaging in team training sessions.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in line with HIPAA regulations, including records of assessments, treatment plans, and session notes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), PsyD, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas.

• Solid understanding of psychopharmacology, demonstrating the ability to effectively liaise with psychiatrists and medical professionals.
