Key Responsibilities As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Blissful Balance Hub, your daily tasks will include: Conducting comprehensive assessments to determine the mental health needs of students and developing individualized treatment plans based on established best practices. Implementing a variety of therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), tailored to the unique preferences and backgrounds of each student. Maintaining accurate clinical records and documentation that complies with HIPAA regulations, facilitating seamless access to information for you and your colleagues while upholding confidentiality standards. Engaging in collaborative efforts with educators, school psychologists, and other professionals to establish a holistic support system for students navigating challenges. Facilitating educational workshops and support groups for students and their families, equipping them with essential knowledge and resources related to mental health. Participating in regular case consultations and conducting peer review sessions to refine therapeutic approaches and improve treatment outcomes. Staying abreast of the latest research and developments in the field of mental health to continually integrate innovative practices into your approach. Patient Population / Client Focus You will primarily work with a diverse population of students within the school setting, addressing a wide range of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral challenges. Your role will involve building trusting relationships with students, facilitating their personal growth, and enhancing their overall school experience. Qualifications A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program, demonstrating a solid educational foundation in the field. A valid and active LCSW license in the state of Texas, reflecting your commitment to maintaining professional standards. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in clinical social work, specifically in delivering psychotherapy services within educational or similar environments. Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic interventions and a profound understanding of mental health disorders prevalent among adolescents. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with clients and collaboration with team members. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of making informed decisions in a dynamic setting. A collaborative spirit, eager to work in a supportive team environment that prioritizes client welfare. Preferred Experience Experience working within school settings or with children and adolescents experiencing mental health challenges. Familiarity with crisis intervention strategies and managing behavioral issues common in educational environments.
