Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our rehabilitation facility located in the beautiful coastal city of Deerfield Beach, renowned for its vibrant community and commitment to health and wellness. You will enjoy minimal paperwork, allowing you to focus mainly on patient care and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement customized treatment plans that incorporate the latest evidence-based practices.
• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to measure each patient's strength, flexibility, and functional mobility.
• Utilize innovative software solutions to objectively assess patient outcomes and track progress throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient evaluations, treatment sessions, re-evaluations, and discharge summaries in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care, improving overall treatment outcomes.
• Engage with patients respectfully and empathetically, ensuring a positive rehabilitation experience that addresses both physical and emotional needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals with a range of orthopedic conditions such as post-operative recovery, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal pain. Additionally, you will engage with patients experiencing neurological conditions, offering you a chance to expand your skills while making meaningful impacts in their recovery processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Physical Therapist license in the State of Florida; temporary permits are welcome.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Healthcare Provider certification.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in orthopedic therapy and knowledge of relevant rehabilitation methodologies is preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) and physical therapy software systems.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually, reflecting your experience and expertise.
