Position Overview

Core Motion Orthopedic Therapy is seeking a committed and skilled Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team in our Coral Springs, Florida location. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in helping patients restore mobility and enhance their overall quality of life. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating various physical ailments, with a primary focus on orthopedic outpatient care.

Our state-of-the-art, 5,000-square-foot sports medicine facility is equipped with the latest technology and therapeutic tools, ensuring our team can deliver the highest standard of orthopedic rehabilitation services. With a team comprised of two experienced Physical Therapists and a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), we emphasize teamwork and collaborative patient care in a supportive environment.

Work Environment

The Physical Therapist position is based onsite at our rehabilitation facility in Coral Springs, where you will immerse yourself in a dynamic and engaging work atmosphere. Shifts are scheduled Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance. Our facility is designed to foster an efficient workflow, with ample space for patient consultations, treatments, and physical activity while ensuring patient privacy and comfort.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' goals, physical capabilities, and limitations, developing personalized treatment plans accordingly.
• Manage a manageable caseload, treating one patient per hour while ensuring diligent attention to their individual needs and progress.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to design and implement cost-effective therapy interventions that improve patients' range of motion, strength, and mobility.
• Motivate and guide patients through their rehabilitation journey, establishing realistic goals and celebrating their achievements as they progress towards optimal functioning.
• Conduct regular evaluations of treatment outcomes and adjust care plans based on patient feedback and monitoring of progress.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care, including consultations and referrals when necessary.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment services in our electronic medical records (EMR) system, specifically using WebPT, to maintain clear communication and continuity of care.
• Teach patients about alternative strategies to reduce reliance on medications and consider less invasive options than surgery.
• Encourage patients to adopt a healthy lifestyle that promotes strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination through tailored fitness and wellness programs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and conditions who are seeking to regain their full range of motion and quality of life. Our diverse clientele ranges from amateur athletes to seniors dealing with age-related musculoskeletal issues, allowing for a rich and varied clinical experience.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required. Candidates with a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) are preferred.
• Must possess a valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• No history of board or disciplinary actions against your professional license.
• Strong foundation in manual therapy techniques, with a proven track record of using diverse treatment modalities.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working specifically in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated competency in developing and implementing individualized exercise protocols.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

• Attractive salary range of $90,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
