Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments for clients via telehealth, employing evidence-based practices to develop personalized treatment plans that align with each individual’s mental health needs.
• Implement a range of therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other modalities, to facilitate effective coping strategies for various mental health issues.
• Maintain accurate, confidential clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational standards, ensuring your documentation reflects the quality of care provided.
• Collaborate proactively with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals, to coordinate care and discuss patient progress during regular case consultations.
• Engage with clients and their families, providing education about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to empower them in their recovery process.
• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in the mental health field to deliver the highest quality of care, integrating newfound knowledge into practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily focus on adults experiencing various mental health challenges, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and trauma-related issues. You will work with a diverse client base in various socio-economic backgrounds, each requiring a tailored approach to their therapeutic needs. Your ability to establish trust and rapport through a virtual platform will significantly contribute to their healing and recovery journey.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• An active license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.
