Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to accurately evaluate clients' symptoms, severity, and impact of mood disorders, employing standardized questionnaires and interviews.
• Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs, goals, and preferences, continuously refining plans based on progress and feedback.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to provide effective treatment and support to clients.
• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-management techniques to foster empowerment and understanding.
• Monitor and document clients' progress regularly, ensuring transparency and consistency in treatment adjustments when necessary.
• Work closely with psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure holistic and integrated care for clients, addressing both therapeutic and pharmacological needs.
• Stay updated with the latest research and trends in mood disorder treatment, actively seeking opportunities for professional development and continuing education.
• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation aligned with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations for mental health professionals.
• Participate in regular team meetings and case consultations, sharing insights and best practices to enhance clinical efficacy and team cohesion.
• Advocate for clients' mental health needs, working to reduce stigma around mood disorders and ensuring clients feel supported within their community.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with clients experiencing a range of mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Due to the diverse nature of our patient population, you will be exposed to various cultural backgrounds and life experiences, enhancing your therapeutic skills and understanding of mental health challenges.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Psychologist.
• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based therapies for mood disorders, with relevant certifications being an advantage.
• Experience with psychopharmacology, enabling effective collaboration with psychiatrists and an understanding of mental health medications.
• A proven history of successful treatment outcomes in clients with mood disorders, showcasing your commitment to fostering positive change.
• Exceptional communication skills to build rapport and establish trust with clients from various backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in a community health clinic setting or with underserved populations is preferred.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and digital documentation systems is a plus, given the remote nature of this role.

Compensation and Benefits
