Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to manage your workload while ensuring you remain accessible to clients and team members. Work hours are typically Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations to assess the psychological needs of children and adolescents.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans that incorporate the developmental stages of patients along with their family dynamics.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and play therapy, to address a variety of mental health issues.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions aimed at empowering parents and caregivers to create supportive environments for their children.

• Work in close collaboration with child psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support during acute mental health crises affecting children and adolescents.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to foster understanding and support.

• Maintain detailed and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems proficiently.

• Actively engage in team meetings and case consultations to ensure cohesive care delivery while participating in ongoing professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders. Understanding the unique needs of this demographic, you will offer focused and empathetic support, addressing not only their mental health but also providing resources for their families.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure in Pennsylvania as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.

• Comprehensive knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, along with evidence-based treatment strategies.

• Proficient in delivering both individual and family therapy sessions with expertise in a range of therapeutic techniques.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children, adolescents, and their families.

• Capable of building rapport and fostering trust with vulnerable populations, ensuring a child-centric approach.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 104,000, commensurate with experience and expertise.
