We are looking for a dedicated Mental Health Counselor who holds one of the following licenses: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). In this full-time position, you will engage with clients and families, implementing strategies and treatments that promote mental well-being and resilience.

Work Environment\n

This role is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility in your workspace while contributing to a structured yet supportive team environment. You will collaborate with a diverse group of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, psychiatric nurses, and social workers, fostering an integrated approach to mental health care. Our operational hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a well-balanced work schedule.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients and their families to identify mental health needs, risks, and appropriate resources.
\n
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that align with client goals, ensuring to document all relevant patient information including diagnoses, treatment interventions, and progress notes.
\n
• Provide individual and group counseling sessions to clients facing various challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational difficulties.
\n
• Work effectively within a crisis-driven environment, utilizing your knowledge of substance abuse, domestic violence, and child maltreatment to provide comprehensive care.

• Educate other team members about clients’ psychosocial stressors and facilitate collaborative discussions to enhance care strategies and outcomes for families.
\n
• Maintain up-to-date clinical records in compliance with confidentiality regulations and best practices in mental health documentation.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse array of clients, ranging from children and families to adults facing mental health challenges. Our patient population often includes individuals from various cultural backgrounds facing socio-economic difficulties that affect their mental well-being. This requires a counselor who is adaptable and willing to engage with a wide spectrum of emotional, psychological, and behavioral challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required.

• Current licensure as either a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Oregon.

• Demonstrated experience working in a counseling capacity with a diverse clientele across varying age groups and backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with teletherapy platforms and remote counseling methodologies is highly preferred.

• Previous work within community health settings or mental health clinics will be considered an asset.

• Familiarity with trauma-informed care principles and a strong foundation in evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

Compensation and Benefits\n
