Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients' histories and identify their unique therapeutic needs.

• Craft and implement personalized treatment plans focused on resilience-building and trauma recovery, adapting approaches as required.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to individual client circumstances.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, fostering an environment for clients to process their experiences and learn coping strategies.

• Coordinate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and collaborative care for clients.

• Offer crisis intervention when necessary, providing immediate support for trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, available resources, and effective coping mechanisms.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client documentation in line with HIPAA and ethical guidelines.

• Engage in team meetings and case consultations to discuss client treatment plans and share insights on trauma-informed care methodologies.

• Commit to ongoing professional development, staying informed about the latest advancements and best practices in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients who have experienced trauma and are dealing with related mental health challenges. This includes survivors of abuse, domestic violence, and other crises, who require personalized therapeutic approaches to help them cope, heal, and thrive. Understanding their experiences and responses to trauma will be essential for effective treatment.

Qualifications\n

• A completed master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within the state of Oregon.

• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed care principles.

• Proficiency in the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms for seamless client management.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience preferred, particularly in trauma-focused therapy settings.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations, demonstrating critical thinking and crisis management skills.

Compensation and Benefits\n
