Work Environment

This full-time position is onsite, providing a collaborative atmosphere where you will work closely with other physical therapists, physicians, and healthcare professionals. Our facility is conveniently located in Elizabeth, NJ, and is equipped with modern rehabilitation tools and technologies. You will have a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, which promotes a balanced work-life integration while allowing you to devote quality time to your patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions to determine their specific therapy needs.
• Create and implement comprehensive treatment plans using a variety of therapeutic techniques tailored to individual patient requirements.
• Deliver hands-on therapy and exercise programs that effectively address mobility issues, using proficient manual therapy techniques.
• Monitor and document patient progress accurately, ensuring all interventions are recorded within required timelines using EMR Software such as WebPT.
• Encourage patient engagement and motivation throughout their treatment journey to achieve optimal recovery and functionality.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic and integrated care, ensuring that all aspects of patient health are considered.
• Advise patients on lifestyle and fitness strategies that promote long-term health and wellness, focusing on improving strength, flexibility, and coordination.
• Maintain a patient load of approximately one session per hour, ensuring quality, individualized care is prioritized.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Raze Orthopedics, you will work primarily with a diverse range of orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our team focuses on providing specialized care for conditions affecting mobility and functionality, addressing both acute and chronic concerns through personalized therapy.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• An active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist without any disciplinary actions.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise program design.
• Experience with EMR software applications, preferably WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated success in formulating and implementing effective therapeutic interventions for improving patient outcomes.
• Experience creating customized wellness programs that encompass a multi-faceted approach to recovery.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive yearly salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, Raze Orthopedics provides a comprehensive benefits package, including:
