Work Environment

Our Carteret facility is designed to support a collaborative and positive environment where team members are encouraged to flourish. Working Monday through Friday, the standard staffing shift consists of 40 hours weekly, allowing for a structured yet fulfilling work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and implement comprehensive treatment programs for patients referred by physicians, tailoring approaches to individual needs and clinical goals.
• Administer specialized treatment techniques to address a variety of conditions, focusing on orthopedic and sports medicine cases, amongst others.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring patient satisfaction through empathetic engagement and proactive communication.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes using the latest evidence-based care methodologies.
• Provide skilled therapeutic interventions and education within patients' homes as required, coordinating care with other providers to ensure continuity.
• Consult with patients and their caregivers to impart essential knowledge on their conditions and treatment protocols, fostering a supportive recovery environment.
• Meet minimum utilization and performance goals, contributing to the overall success and reputation of the practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work closely with a diverse clientele including children, athletes, individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, and those managing chronic neurological conditions. The variety of cases ensures that you will be continuously challenged and engaged, while also allowing you to apply and expand your expertise across multiple specialties. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required to ensure that all services meet the standards of practice.
• Valid Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey is mandatory.
• At least two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting to confirm your capability in diverse patient management.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is essential to proceed with the role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively work with both patients and healthcare team members.
• Proficiency in computer skills and basic office software for documentation and patient management tasks.
• A commitment to forging and maintaining productive relationships with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient rehabilitation setting is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with evidence-based protocols and contemporary physical therapy techniques.
• Experience with community outreach and patient education initiatives.
