Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed assessments to understand each client's unique trauma history and mental health status.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at facilitating trauma recovery and building resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in individual and group settings.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions tailored to help clients process their trauma and develop effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists and healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care for clients, ensuring a holistic approach to treatment.

• Offer crisis intervention and immediate support to clients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families about the effects of trauma, common responses, and resources available for ongoing support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

Preferred Experience\n
