Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's unique trauma history and determine suitable treatment methodologies.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate strategies for trauma recovery, resilience building, and emotional regulation.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, enabling patients to process their experiences and develop practical coping strategies.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure an integrated, holistic approach to patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and mental well-being.

• Educate patients and their families regarding trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available community resources.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Must possess current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting is preferred.

• Demonstrated experience in providing trauma-focused therapies and interventions.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Family Matters Care Consultants offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually.
