Work Environment\n

As a remote telehealth provider, you will engage with clients in a flexible and supportive online environment, utilizing modern technology to provide accessible therapy. Our office hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to address the needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments that evaluate each patient’s trauma history, strengths, and specific needs.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that promote recovery, resilience, and personal growth, utilizing a variety of methodologies including EMDR and TF-CBT.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that encourage healing, coping strategy development, and community support.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive and integrated care for all patients.

• Execute crisis intervention strategies during trauma-related emergencies, providing immediate support and direction.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available therapeutic resources.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with telehealth guidelines.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development focused on trauma-informed practices.

• Stay abreast of the latest research in trauma therapy and apply best practices to enhance treatment outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

We focus on individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including but not limited to, physical, emotional, and sexual abuse. Our primary patient base comprises adults struggling with PTSD, complex trauma, and a range of dissociative disorders. We strive to create a safe and personalized experience for each patient, enabling them to heal in a supportive and understanding environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience as a mental health counselor is essential.

• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.

• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-stress situations.

• Proficiency in telehealth technologies and electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• A willingness to collaborate with a diverse team of mental health professionals.

Preferred Experience\n

Ideal candidates will have experience delivering trauma-informed therapies and evidence-based interventions. Familiarity with group therapy dynamics and crisis intervention methods is a plus. Candidates who have participated in ongoing education or specialized training in trauma therapy will be favored.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
