Accounts Payable Specialist

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $30.00 to $35.00 per hour.

Job Responsibilities:

• Process invoices from receipt through payment while ensuring accuracy and proper approvals.
• Maintain vendor records and respond to inquiries related to payments and account status.
• Perform account reconciliations and assist with resolving discrepancies or timing differences.
• Support month end activities by preparing reports and assisting with accruals as needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure expenses are recorded correctly and processes run smoothly.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role.
• Familiarity with full cycle payable processes and invoice management.
• Prior experience working with accounting systems, preferably within real estate environments.
• Ability to work onsite and support short term coverage needs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience with property management accounting systems.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to track and manage high volume transactions.
• Effective communication skills when working with vendors and internal teams.
• Reliable and flexible approach to supporting a temporary assignment.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
