Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at The Health Connection, you will work in our modern outpatient office, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and resources. The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, offering a supportive and structured work schedule tailored to your needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical conditions and specific functional abilities, identifying individual needs and goals.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans informed by initial assessments, ensuring they are tailored to meet the unique requirements of each patient.
• Utilize hands-on techniques, therapeutic exercises, and other modalities to alleviate pain, enhance mobility, and restore function to injured areas.
• Provide education and training to patients on proper body mechanics, posture, and injury prevention strategies to facilitate long-term healing.
• Continuously monitor patient progress throughout the treatment process, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive and comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records, documenting treatment interventions, outcomes, and any changes in patient status.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Health Connection serves a diverse patient population, including active adults, seniors, athletes recovering from injuries, and individuals coping with chronic conditions. Our focus is on delivering customized rehabilitation programs that not only address immediate physical concerns but also lay the foundation for long-lasting health. Our Sports Physiotherapy and Spinal Care teams are particularly attentive to their respective patient needs, ensuring a tailored approach that maximizes recovery and minimizes the risk of future injuries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; a Master's degree is preferred.
• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Nevada.
• Board certification by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
• A minimum of five years of clinical experience with a focus on outpatient therapy.
• Proficiency in utilizing advanced physical therapy techniques and equipment, including manual therapy and exercise modalities.
• Strong analytical skills capable of assessing complex patient rehabilitation needs.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to engage effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in specialized areas such as sports rehabilitation, geriatrics, or spinal injury treatment.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and education.
