Key Responsibilities

• Engage with clients in individual video sessions, utilizing a structured approach to identify and address their mental health concerns.
• Encourage open dialogue, facilitating discussions about emotions, experiences, and interpersonal relationships to help clients gain self-awareness.
• Act as an advocate for clients, assisting them in setting realistic and achievable wellness goals.
• Assess clients' mental health conditions through thorough evaluations, developing personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
• Utilize our comprehensive counseling dashboard as your virtual office, allowing for seamless session management via video, text, and messaging.
• Adjust treatment approaches based on client feedback and progress, ensuring adherence to best practices in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work exclusively with clients who have been pre-screened, ensuring that you engage with stable adults who present with low-acuity mental health concerns. This structured client selection allows our counselors to focus their expertise effectively, tailoring their approaches to the unique needs and preferences of each individual.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Candidates must hold a valid, full license from the state board, maintaining good standing to practice independently without supervision. Acceptable licenses include Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
• Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate nature are essential for nurturing the counseling relationship.
• Proficiency with computer systems and telehealth technologies.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in teletherapy or online counseling environments is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

• The annual salary for this role ranges between USD 90,000 and USD 104,000, contingent upon the counselor's experience and working hours.
• New hires will receive a sign-on bonus to support their transition into our team.
• Full-time counselors are eligible for a monthly healthcare stipend, ensuring access to essential medical resources.
• Weekly direct deposit to develop a reliable income flow.
