The Mind Care Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our remote outpatient team. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans, including pre-crisis and crisis plans, behavioral guidelines, risk assessments, and positive behavior support strategies.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of required documentation in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools as guided by the clinical team to inform treatment plans and improve patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and programs to implement effective positive behavior support plans tailored to each client's needs.
• Actively engage in licensing and accreditation processes to ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulations.
• Serve as a liaison to state agencies, community partners, and other service systems to enhance the delivery of mental health services.
• Establish and nurture relationships with local, state, and federal agencies to identify new opportunities for collaboration, funding, and partnership.
• Engage in continuous professional growth by attending conferences, professional classes, and participating in statewide meetings related to mental health.
• Promote and embody the agency's mission and values in all areas of your work.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to support team objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role will involve working with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing emotional distress, substance use challenges, and varying degrees of mental health concerns. Our clients come from varying backgrounds and experiences, making cultural competency and sensitivity crucial for providing effective care. You will play a vital role in supporting clients through their recovery journeys and helping them achieve their personal wellness goals.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field is required.
• Possession of an independent LMHC license is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient counseling settings is preferred, with a focus on developing therapeutic relationships with clients.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices in mental health treatment, particularly in crisis intervention and behavioral support.
• Previous experience in liaising with community resources and agencies is advantageous.
