Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify and understand clients' mental health concerns, employing clinical interviews and diagnostic tools to formulate accurate clinical diagnoses.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment results and work collaboratively with clients to set therapeutic goals.
• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, ensuring interventions are tailored to meet the specific needs of each client.
• Provide crisis intervention and management for clients facing acute psychological distress, ensuring timely support in emergency situations.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, incorporating treatment plans, progress notes, and assessment results in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure integrated care for all clients.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and community resources, advocating for their rights and navigating system complexities as necessary.
• Stay informed on the latest developments in mental health therapy by participating in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist in Massachusetts (LMFT, LMHC, LICSW).

• Demonstrated clinical assessment and diagnostic skills with a minimum of two years of relevant experience in mental health counseling.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively connect with clients and build therapeutic relationships.

• Commitment to ethical practice and maintaining professional standards in all client interactions.

Preferred Experience

• Previous work in a clinical mental health setting is advantageous but not obligatory for dedicated entry-level candidates.
• Experience with telehealth platforms or digital therapy tools is a plus, fostering a seamless transition to remote care.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges between USD 85,000 and USD 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
