Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans, ensuring that they align with both regulatory standards and the unique needs of each client.
• Documentation is key; you will be responsible for timely completion of clinical records, including incident reports and treatment progress notes.
• Employ evidence-based screening tools in collaboration with our clinical team to accurately gauge client needs and outcomes.
• Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement Positive Behavior Support Plans, enhancing client care processes.
• Actively engage in all aspects of licensing and accreditation processes to ensure compliance and excellence in service delivery.
• Serve as a liaison for connecting clients to essential state and local resources, building networks to enhance service delivery.
• Maintain clear communication channels to facilitate collaboration with community organizations and stakeholders aimed at improving mental health resources.
• Pursue personal and professional growth through attendance at workshops, conferences, and networking events related to mental health.
• Promote the core values and mission of Genesis Health Clinic in all interactions and initiatives.
• Perform various other duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to support team objectives and improve patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work as an LMHC will directly impact a diverse population, including individuals facing crisis situations or ongoing mental health challenges. You will provide support and therapy to clients from various backgrounds, focusing on empowering them through recovery, resilience building, and skill development. Engaging with clients through evidence-based practices will be essential in navigating their unique challenges.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field is required to ensure a strong foundational knowledge of mental health practices.
• Possession of an independent LMHC License issued by the state board is required to practice legally and effectively.
• Excellent skills in maintaining clinical records and preparing comprehensive reports are necessary to uphold clinic quality standards.
• Experience working within an interdisciplinary team setting is vital for collaboration and the sharing of best practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for expressing ideas and observations clearly and effectively.
• Demonstrated capacity to exercise independent judgment based on professional expertise is crucial in client care situations.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in telehealth settings and those familiar with mental health rehabilitation practices will be at an advantage. Exposure to substance use treatment, crisis intervention, and behavioral health management will be valued in candidates. Additionally, familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and teletherapy platforms will enhance your ability to deliver effective care.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 86,000 to 103,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, you will have access to:
