Work Environment

As a member of our dedicated team, you will work remotely within a structured schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, with the potential for occasional evening or weekend appointments to accommodate client needs. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health needs and develop personalized treatment strategies.
• Utilize evidence-based methodologies to create and implement effective treatment plans tailored to each client’s goals, ensuring a holistic and impactful approach to therapy.
• Facilitate individual, couples, and group counseling sessions, employing appropriate therapeutic interventions that align with best practices in mental health care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive client care that addresses both mental and emotional health across varying circumstances.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records, adhering to all legal and ethical standards to protect client privacy.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through supervision, case reviews, and participation in relevant training programs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele ranges widely, encompassing individuals facing conditions such as depression, anxiety disorders, PTSD, addiction, and mood disorders. As an LMHC at Greene Counseling Center, you will support clients in navigating their emotional challenges, helping them to develop coping strategies and resilience as they work towards achieving their personal goals.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Massachusetts.
• A Master's degree in clinical mental health counseling or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated experience in conducting individual and group therapy in a mental health setting.
• Strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic techniques relevant to mental health treatment.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to foster rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with both clients and team members.
• A steadfast commitment to ethical practices and maintaining client confidentiality.

Preferred Experience

We value candidates with a diverse range of experiences, particularly those who have dealt with trauma-informed care, mood disorders, and addiction treatment. Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems will also be beneficial in maintaining client documentation efficiently. Familiarity with group facilitation and therapeutic frameworks such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
