Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough individual and family therapy evaluations, tailoring ongoing therapy sessions to meet the unique needs of each patient based on pre-scheduled guidelines and urgent assessments.
• Facilitate dynamic group therapy sessions that promote client engagement and reflect established schedules, ensuring a collaborative therapeutic environment.
• Build and maintain effective therapeutic relationships with patients, respecting personal boundaries while fostering trust and openness.
• Utilize culturally sensitive practices when addressing the diverse backgrounds of clients, adapting therapeutic interventions to align with various DSM diagnoses and individual values.
• Perform psychosocial assessments to determine the psychological and social factors impacting patient's mental health, enabling the formulation of personalized treatment plans and strategies.
• Document all therapy sessions meticulously, keeping detailed records that meet medical necessity standards to support optimal patient care and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Participate actively in weekly interdisciplinary treatment planning sessions, presenting progress reports and collaborating on care strategies to ensure cohesive patient support.
• Assist in preparing Discharge Aftercare Plans, facilitating smooth transitions for clients as they integrate back into their communities.
• Engage in continuous professional development, attending seminars and workshops that enhance clinical knowledge and skills relevant to current trends in mental health.
• Demonstrate the ability to provide care across a range of age groups, including children, adolescents, middle adults, and geriatric patients, with a culturally aware approach that honors patient rights.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse patient population, including children and teenagers dealing with transitional life phases, middle-aged adults managing stressors such as workplace challenges, and older adults facing issues of grief and dementia. As a therapist, you will work to address specific physical, psychological, and cultural needs, helping clients feel understood and respected in their therapy journey.

Qualifications

• A valid, unrestricted clinical license (LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT) in the state of Washington.
• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.

Preferred Experience

Prior experience in a behavioral health or mental health setting focusing on individual, family, and group therapy is preferred, along with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Experience with telehealth delivery of therapy services is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 100,000, reflecting your experience and qualifications.
