Mantra Counseling Services is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team on a full-time basis. Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, allowing for a flexible work setting that can adapt to your needs as a professional. The work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility based on patient requirements. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments, gathering detailed histories to identify patient needs and develop appropriate treatment strategies.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, utilizing interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that encourage patients to explore their experiences, process their trauma, and cultivate effective coping mechanisms.

• Maintain close collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and integrated patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention services and immediate support for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about the effects of trauma, effective coping strategies, and the resources available to them on their path to recovery.

• Ensure meticulous and confidential documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress, adhering to legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and training aimed at enhancing trauma-informed care practices.

• Continuously seek knowledge on the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to remain at the forefront of the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a mental health therapist at Mantra Counseling Services, you will primarily work with individuals affected by trauma, including survivors of abuse, neglect, and various traumatic experiences. Your role is crucial in supporting patients from diverse backgrounds, guiding them as they rebuild their lives and foster emotional resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in New York State.

• A strong foundation in trauma-related disorders, familiar with trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, particularly in trauma-focused therapy.

• Demonstrated proficiency in delivering evidence-based therapies specific to trauma, with a strong capability for therapeutic engagement.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
