This position operates within a telehealth framework, allowing our professionals to work remotely while engaging with clients through digital platforms. Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to meet patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's trauma history and develop tailored treatment approaches.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on trauma recovery, incorporating techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma and develop effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure cohesive and integrated care for all patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring timely and effective responses.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources for additional support.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with legal standards and ethical guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse clientele who have experienced various forms of trauma. This includes survivors of emotional, physical, and sexual abuse, as well as individuals managing the symptoms of PTSD and complex trauma. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New York.

Compensation and Benefits\n
