Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients, assessing the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that align with each client’s unique requirements, goals, and preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), in individual and group sessions.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care practices that promote mental wellness.

• Monitor client progress effectively, adapting treatment plans as required to ensure the best possible outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary teams to provide integrated mental healthcare and improve the overall treatment experience.

• Stay informed of the latest research and developments in mood disorder therapies to continuously improve your practice.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily support individuals struggling with mood disorders, including those facing challenges related to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Your expertise will extend to working with various populations, including vulnerable groups such as homeless individuals, refugees, and victims of domestic abuse. Your interventions and support will directly contribute to their healing and stability.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.
