Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and diagnoses, if necessary, using established tools like the DSM-5 to craft individualized treatment plans that reflect cultural diversities and specific patient needs.
• Regularly evaluate patient progress and adapt interventions to optimize the effectiveness of mental health treatments.
• Document all treatment records, progress notes, and clinical information accurately and promptly, adhering to regulatory standards and ensuring compliance with department practices.
• Collaborate with patients and interdisciplinary teams to formulate a comprehensive treatment plan that addresses the unique needs and goals of each individual.
• Anticipate patient safety concerns and intervene appropriately, offering strategies to manage symptoms and improve overall mental wellness.
• Serve as a liaison between patients and other healthcare providers, fostering strong inter-professional relationships to enhance the continuum of care.
• Provide education and mentorship to students, interns, and volunteers, thereby enriching the training experience for future mental health professionals.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid LCSW license in the State of California.

• Physical capability to engage in activities such as lifting, standing, and walking, as required, without assistance.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $105,000 per year, depending on experience.
