Work Environment

This role operates completely remotely, allowing for flexibility and comfort in your work environment. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual individual therapy sessions with clients, employing evidence-based psychotherapy techniques to enhance mental health outcomes.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each individual’s unique needs, focusing on goals such as coping with grief, managing anxiety or depression, and facilitating life transitions.
• Employ therapeutic methodologies including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and crisis intervention as appropriate to support clients’ emotional wellness.
• Utilize clinical assessments to gauge client emotional and mental health needs and provide timely diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of clinical notes and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve clients facing complex emotional challenges related to end-of-life issues, grief and loss, chronic pain, and significant life transitions. Many of your clients may experience heightened anxiety or depression due to their situations. Your role is vital in providing empathetic support and structured therapeutic interventions to help them navigate these challenges meaningfully.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work with a current, active Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in California is required.
• Proficiency in telehealth services, ensuring high-quality and secure virtual therapy sessions.
• Ability to maintain a private office setting and reliable internet access for seamless virtual interactions.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience in providing therapy, with a strong preference for candidates with experience in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).
• Demonstrated experience in treating a diverse range of mental health disorders, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, PTSD, and grief and loss.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers an attractive salary range of $120,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your personal and professional well-being.
