Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual, couples, or family therapy sessions via a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism.
• Perform comprehensive intake assessments that inform personalized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of clients.
• Implement evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to support clients in achieving therapeutic goals.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation within our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in virtual team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing training sessions to enhance clinical skills and integrate best practices in care.
• Work in collaboration with multidisciplinary team members, including psychiatrists and therapists, to provide holistic care to clients and facilitate referrals as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on providing mental health support primarily to patients within hospice care experiencing situational crises, grief, and anxiety related to terminal illnesses. Engaging with individuals and families in these sensitive moments requires a profound understanding of end-of-life issues, making your role vital in enhancing their quality of life through compassionate counseling and support.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• Possession of an active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of California is essential.
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience, ideally in a hospice or palliative care setting.
• Demonstrated ability to engage with clients compassionately, utilizing strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and empathy.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and tools to efficiently manage remote client interactions.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive annual salary ranging between $90,000 and $110,000, commensurate with experience.
