Remote Licensed Clinical Social Worker - Hospice Care Specialist

Position Overview

Riverdale Behavioral Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team. This full-time, remote position is dedicated to enhancing the lives of vulnerable children and their families by providing essential emotional support and intervention strategies. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine the specific emotional and developmental needs of children in our care.
• Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP), tailoring interventions to meet the unique needs of each child.
• Monitor and document the progress of child development, ensuring that outcomes align with the individualized goals set in collaboration with families.
• Provide essential support to families, equipping them with skills and resources to foster their child's growth and development.
• Comply with all applicable Federal and State regulations, ensuring that all practices meet the highest standards of care.
• Develop positive rapport with children, families, and team members, enhancing a supportive and nurturing learning atmosphere.
• Utilize evidence-based practices in all interventions, promoting Natural Learning Environment Practices to maximize child engagement and learning.
• Implement the IFSP for enrolled families, making recommendations on service frequency based on development progress and family goals.
• Deliver coaching and teaching within natural environments, allowing for more relatable and impactful learning experiences.
• Uphold strict standards for health and safety, creating a safe environment for both staff and the families we serve.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will primarily work with infants and toddlers experiencing developmental disabilities or delays. Your expertise is crucial in assessing their emotional and psychological needs, guiding interventions that promote communication, physical, cognitive, and social skills. You will also engage with their families, providing the support and education necessary to navigate their child's developmental journey effectively.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in Social Work or a Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Must be licensed by the Department of Public Health as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Minimum of one year of professional experience working with children in early intervention settings.
• A valid driver’s license is required for any in-person family engagements or assessments.
• Strong commitment to employing Natural Learning Environment Practices in care delivery.
• Ability to adapt to various learning styles to address the needs of each child effectively.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills; capable of juggling multiple priorities in a remote environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective family engagement.
• Respect for diverse perspectives and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in hospice or a behavioral health setting is advantageous.
• Familiarity with federal and state regulations pertinent to social work and child welfare is preferable.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 75,000 to 80,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
