Licensed Mental Health Counselor - Remote

Position Overview

Soul Restore Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis in a remote capacity. In this role, you will play a critical part in providing trauma-informed counseling services to individuals, couples, and families, while integrating Christian principles to meet the diverse needs of our clients. Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Delivering trauma-informed counseling tailored to individual, couple, and family needs.
• Incorporating faith-based techniques into therapeutic practices for individuals seeking a Christian counseling approach.
• Developing, implementing, and monitoring personalized treatment plans reflecting client goals.
• Providing counseling services facilitated through partnerships with local churches for increased accessibility.
• Engaging in community outreach initiatives to foster relationships and expand referral sources.
• Coordinating with multidisciplinary professionals, such as clinical counselors and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care.
• Accurately documenting client interactions and maintaining up-to-date electronic health records (EHR).
• Maintaining open lines of communication with the center director regarding scheduling, client needs, and practice improvements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of your counseling practice will encompass a diverse range of clients, including individuals grappling with trauma, couples navigating relationship challenges, and families seeking holistic support. As a part of our mission, you will engage with clients who value a faith-based counseling perspective, allowing you to integrate Christian principles effectively into their therapy journey.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in counseling, social work, or a related field.
• Active and independently licensed as an LPC, LMFT, or LCSW in Washington, D.C.
• Strong understanding of the Bible and/or Biblical counseling techniques.
• Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities and interventions to cater to a diverse clientele.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with individuals of all backgrounds.
• A firm commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in practice.

Preferred Experience

While one-year experience in trauma counseling is required, we highly encourage applicants with:

• Dual licensure in Virginia or Maryland.
• EMDR training or willingness to complete the basic training within three months of hire.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 105,000 annually. Additionally, we provide:
