Key Responsibilities\n

As a licensed mental health therapist at Chat and Change Counseling, your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery, leveraging evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Leading individual and group therapy sessions aimed at facilitating emotional processing, coping strategy development, and promoting overall healing.

• Collaboratively working with psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary professionals to ensure an integrated, holistic care approach for each patient.

• Providing crisis intervention services and support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating an ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations.

• Educating patients and their families about the complexities of trauma responses and offering insights into available coping mechanisms and resources.

You will primarily work with individuals who have experienced trauma and are seeking assistance in overcoming challenges associated with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Pennsylvania.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting.

• A robust understanding of trauma-related disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
